How we price each stage

What does each stage cost?

Design

$75–$150 / hour

Charged hourly, depending on the complexity and type of design required. Our team of engineers is highly efficient and experienced, so your first draft already feels like a finished design — and because they design print-ready CAD for an effortless manufacturing process, your part comes back ready to print.

Prototype & Production

From $1 / print hr

Charged by the time and material a job takes — as low as $1 per print hour for simple, single-color FDM. We keep dedicated machines reserved, so printing starts the moment your design is approved, and production scales from 1 to 10,000+ units with volume discounts as the order grows.

Assembly & Shipping

Fair market wage

Assembly is charged by the skill level and time each job requires — always at fair market wage — and shipping at actual cost. That keeps your total comparable to hiring and tooling an in-house operation, without the overhead or the lead time.

10–25% off

Volume discounts on production.

High-volume orders earn mass discounts — from 10% up to 25% on high-scale production runs. Our quality and attention to detail stay the highest in the field, and our price stays comparable to the lowest available anywhere, whether you're a local hobbyist or a massive corporation.

Sample order

A real example of what volume unlocks.

A sample order of custom 3D-printed parts produced by Snap Engineering — 20 units for $50

$50

for 20 units

A real sample order: twenty of these printed, finished, and delivered for fifty dollars. That's the per-unit economics that on-demand volume production unlocks — no tooling, no minimums, no surprises.
